• Smoothing: a sophisticated discriminating smoothing algorithm reduces unwanted grain and Jpeg artifacts, and can be used in any of seven targeted modes to deal with almost all eventualities:
  • Normal smoothes the whole image
  • Skin Smoothing is a colour-targeted mode ideal for portraits
  • Unsaturated Areas smoothes the less colourful image areas
  • Midtones preferentially reduces noise in the mid-tone areas
  • Colour Exclusion smoothes everywhere except areas of a selected colour
